Steve is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He initially obtained valuable experience in the litigation and collections department and attended to various bank legal matters.

During the period Sept 1994 – August 1995 he together with his principal were involved in 94 trials acting for various banks pertaining to credit card and personal lending accounts. His litigation and collection experience spans over more than 20 years and include a few notable matters relating to banking law decided and reported in the High Court.

He also obtained valuable experience in the commercial departments of Blakes and Blakes Maphanga Inc. He attended to the drafting of various commercial contracts, registration of companies and trusts, privatisation and acquisitions.

He also has vast experience in eviction matters and assisted various banks, home owners and landlords herein. He also formed part of a team in forensic commercial investigations with a transactional value of R 250 million (R 250 000 000.00) and which resulted in the recovery of several millions of Rand for one client alone.

His client base consists out of corporate entities, listed companies, individual entrepreneurs, and foreign conglomerates. Although Steve focus on the commercial client, he assists his individual clients as far as it relates to family law matters ( eg. divorces, maintenance, and mediation).

His practice focuses on the collections of bad debt and the litigation associated therewith. He manages a department which consists out of a team of attorneys, candidate attorneys and legal secretaries that has many years’ experience in bank litigation and collection matters.
